Sustainability

Ensuring sustainability is a corporate value at Splendor. It is an integral part of how we do business and an essential element of our strategy to build a strong company and deliver value to shareholders over the long term.

Being sustainable means managing and optimizing our operating practices from start to finish. Indeed, a low environmental footprint has been a prime design objective. As such, gas and electricity consumption has been minimized by the recovery of waste heat to be used in a less complex and lower-temperature operating system.

Environmental, social and governance

Splendor has adopted a near-zero waste policy in terms of the usage of raw materials and the production of saleable products:

  • The technology process uses wastes, low-grade, and slags of other industrial units which will improve the circular economy in the countries in which Splendor’s manufacturing facilities operate.
  • Instead of creating waste such as tailings, the process produces a secondary source of raw materials that can be sold and used in areas such as pollution control and construction materials.

Splendor aims to have a diverse and inclusive workplace through our employment policies and practices; the current team is balanced with 50/50 male/female employees.

Splendor is committed to optimizing performance, building sustainable value for its shareholders, and promoting a solid corporate culture. Accordingly, a framework has been created that includes relevant internal controls, risk management processes, and corporate governance policies and practices to promote responsible management and conduct across all Splendor’s operations.

Splendor’s business model and expected outcomes address eight of the UN SDGs, namely:
